A helpful and well-written book.

This is the 1996 edition. This is a hardbound book with the islands listed randomly. There are 18 pages on Martinique, but the information is dense and about the island rather than about its shops -- culture, festivals, and geography. The book is better written than most, with helpful general information on shopping, sports, lodging, and getting around on the islands.

This book is recommended.
